Last of the Kaka Beak

Once my Clianthus has stopped flowering I'm going to cut carefully and lovingly cut it back. It hasn't been the flowering season of last year. Some big winter frosts gave it a hard time.

Once I'm done I'll be able to better reach in and give it a jolly good feed too. It looks a bit anaemic.

I've spent a regimented day all so I can play in the mountains tomorrow. Alas the weather forecast has put paid to that. I thought that if I packed and made my lunch for tomorrow, I might swing the oscillating forecast in my favour.

Today's gratitude: For warmth.
