I can’t avoid it anymore!

Advent approaches and the Christmas season now gearing up everywhere you go.
This sight greets you as you enter our local garden centre. We are buying some compost and a miniature flowering cherry tree to plant in the front garden.
The guys who are working in it are doing a great job.
They took out the hedge by the pavement yesterday and currently are building low wall to replace it. I asked them to incorporate two planters at each end.
The cherry tree will be a centrepiece.
I really missed the cherry tree in the adjoining neighbours’ garden. It was so beautiful each spring and autumn.
They chopped it down to be able to get a third car parked, (on their lawn).
They are lovely people and freely will say they are not gardeners.
So our Gang of Four said they would plant it for us.
The hole was dug yesterday.
I feel very emotional about it as our Matt loved that tree next door.
It was always in flower on his birthday in April.
The school opposite us, which he attended in his early years, before moving on up through Secondary and then on to University, planted a large flowering white cherry tree in his memory. They put it opposite us so we can see it from our house.
Well, purchases duly accomplished it’s time to go home.
We’ve just finished having a coffee here.
