Another Fine Walk

This weeks trail took us down to start our walk at the John Muir Trail just outside Dunbar. Due to the shortness of the days which limited our range we set out from the car with a 2 and a half hour time limit before a turn round was required. After a lovely walk along the edge of the Tyne river tidal basin, carrying on past along past some fields and along the river further up to the village of Tyninghame where I took the main image. Tyninghame is a very pretty village with lovely cafe but we didn’t have the time to partake of its offerings. We headed back to Dunbar and on the way we walked past a field with a number of geese (see extra) and think they were of the barnacle type that managed to spook themselves, it wasn’t us, we were about 100m away not making a noise. We managed to get back to the car before the light went and made our way home via a cliff top cafe near Tantallon Castle.
