Above the Fog …

… the sun shines and there is hardly a soul around. What stunning views we had this morning (another of Riondaz in extra) walking gently to the top of the Berneuse above Leysin, then looping back down a track that zig zags through old avalanche barriers. We saw chamois enjoying the sunshine and a black grouse flew up in front of us, scolding loudly. It was quite difficult to return to the darkness under the stratus to lower altitudes.
