I had a quiet afternoon, so ambled over to Wandsworth Common in the cool sunshine; I didn't even get the whole way around the ponds because I found two cormorants fishing, posing, and then taking flight... I had a wait before this one stopped drying its wings and started its take-off run, so managed to find relatively decent exposure for its splashy scramble.
