Sunrise……

………the first colourful one we have seen for a while and Bertie and I enjoyed it while we were out for our first walk of the day. In fact, the whole day stayed dry until late afternoon so N and J were able to get a bit of chainsaw practice, felling a couple of “sick” trees. One was an ash tree suffering from ash dieback and the other was an old birch that was rotting. In fact, the birch was so rotten it won’t even be any good for firewood!
