Word of the Day

Following a tutorial this evening for the writing class I am doing where we had to analyse the last 10 books we’ve read, I realised in comparison to my classmates I don’t read often or widely enough! I immediately picked up a new novel from the unread pile which is narrated by a fig tree (!) to read in bed but quickly got distracted by the need to google words I wasn’t sure of the meaning of!! This was my favourite. I’m not sure I’m cut out to be the next Maggie O’Farrell.
