Oil

It was not long before sunset, and the tide was high in Clontarf. The view over Dublin bay and power plant felt a bit surreal. I had never seen the water so calm, it looked like oil more than water.

Less than an hour later the tide had already gone out leaving at least ten metres of sand exposed. It went so fast that I actually didn’t notice it go, just realised that the calm water wasn’t there anymore.
