Just too much fun

Out for a run and then we picked up daughters dog and off down to our favourite coffeeshop and a walk. It was cold but dry and pleasant sitting outside watching the world go by.
The two girls had a good play and then I noticed it had gone quiet and found them both sleeping in the garden room.
I have started Christmas today, fruit soaking in brandy for tomorrow’s baking of cake, present that need delivering wrapped as some will be going on Friday and started writing cards.
Message from daughter to say her hotel is awful, no wifi and the group she had traveled with were in a different one. It took them nearly seven hours to get there and they are coming back after the meeting finishes at three tomorrow.
