No loafing about

After a shortish jog as the sun came up, breakfast gulped and off to Ludlow for the weekly food shopping. A 15 minute library visit allowing me to check emails etc on my laptop as there’s no internet back at base.
Screwfix on the way out of town to collect a solar powered security light and then home for a warm beverage and the clinical storage of goods purchased.
After lunch more brash burning for Uncle D and I whilst Auntie W produced her monthly supply of homemade bread. The aroma quite wonderful lingered for the rest of the day.
Back in Devon Auntie has today been given antibiotics intravenously for a water infection, I can’t understand why it’s taken so long but fingers crossed that the treatment works. She is still quite erratic in speech and action and we’ve been told that it could take a while to recover from.
