A Bit of A Day

We had some work going on in the house today that I was already a bit grumpy about as it was disrupting my work, but then it took a turn for the worse when it turned out the biggest job couldn't be done because our washing machine is leaking. I've been a bit down of late so my ability to cope with even small nuggets of bad news has basically been eroded down to nothing so I was very upset by this, and it only got worse when the estate agents dropped the news that because we've now discovered the water damage is our fault (as the washing machine is ours) we'll have to pay for the work on floor. Harrumph. Chippy tea helped but I'm not in the best of moods now...
