Free Bibles !

This little sidewalk "library" sits in front of a modest home in the Seattle neighborhood of South Park.

The Bibles are all carefully wrapped in plastic to protect them from the elements until a prospective new owner comes along. I counted 16 different Bibles available on Easter Sunday.

The selection consisted mostly of NIV Bibles. There were several children's Bibles, one Readers Digest large print edition Bible, and even one Gideon Bible.

I did not get to speak with the homeowner, but a neighbor passed by while I was taking the picture, and told me that Bibles have been distributed here for many, many years.
