At last....

... a mammal! 

I was starting to get a bit worried that all my photos were going to be birds. Don't get me wrong - I love birds - I've been birding for almost 50 years but I do like to take some images of mammals now and again.

Spoilt for choice today - otters or red squirrel! The squirrels have returned to the garden so I thought there was more chance of seeing them than the otters. Also I loved this family 'puppy' pile of otters having a snooze together. One of them just decided to sit on one of the other otters, which didn't seem to mind one bit.

So I think this is a mum and two kits (which may or may not be the same ones I saw a month or so ago). Either way it was lovely to watch.
