Prefelt stage

Been knocked out with a stomach bug for the past few days so not been up to doing much. Feeling a bit better today so got on with this scarf.

Now at the prefelted stage. Which means it’s holding together as fabric but it doesn’t have any real structural integrity. Now dried out and tomorrow I’ll hopefully get the edging and some tassels cut. Then it will be the final felting and fulling before finishing it off.

The pic shows the contrast between the silk side, which has a sheen, and the more matt merino side.
