Recovered

Yesterday, we brought these lampshades from the other house, together with many other items including vacuum cleaners.  It was my last trip over there and, today, hubby went over and finished emptying his tools and cleaning items from the outhouse and also collected other items that had been left over there.   He got back after a few hours, so had worked very fast!

This morning, he and I went into the bank to try and sort out a couple of cheques that had been blocked, including a large payment to our plumber and a bequest payment to my aunt.  It has been a huge worry to us and we had had very unsatisfactory results from a telephone call to the ‘call centre’ (a lady working from home with a dog barking in the background, ha ha!).  The bank now believe that re-written cheques should pass the ‘fraud’ test!  I do hope so.
