visitor L, delivering a picture by her husband J to a blacksmith currently working on a commission for the Queen's Remembrancer. J is a brilliant painter. L is writing an opera about Mary Wollstonecroft. I have known L for over 60 years. Her next destination was Deeping St James to deliver another picture.
