Meeting the PM day

paladian and I were invited to a special function today by our local Federal Member for Boothby, Nicolle Flint. She did say that they were expecting a senior member of government to visit the function, but that was all that we knew.

That special minister turned out to be the Prime Minster, Scott Morrison! It was his first visit to our state for a long time, since borders were closed due to Covid.

It turned out to be a mostly informal occasion for chat with the PM and several other politicians plus posing for photos. There were minimal speeches and they were short. It most definitely was a fun experience for the 40 odd guests who were present.

It was a privilege and honour to be counted in the select few representatives of volunteer hierarchy from the various Adelaide groups. Paladian dressed in her Victoriana costume to add some extra colour to the occasion.
