Aerial photo.

I took this photo from our loft room. There us a good view from here that I have not previously appreciated. The sky was just turning dark as the sun set below the horizon. The aerials on the houses opposite created an interesting silhouette as the town settled down for the evening.
Grateful today for time to contemplate and value things that I take for granted, like a roof over my head, freedom to worship God, the finances to buy food, family and friends. These things are brought into stark contrast by shocking news stories such as the sad loss of life in the Channel.
