Dartmoor Ponies

On the way back from a very cold walk this morning with flakes of snow falling and nothing in the camera, I came across this herd of some 20 Dartmoor ponies which was exciting because of late I had only seen small groups of three or four ponies together and now here were this large herd grazing very peacefully. Even when I approached them the seemed quite content to let me come close. What a privilege and a blip for the day!!!
