It has taken me more than a year and a half to ask for a disability pass to be able to use special parking spaces and to get priority seating etc. It then took the office for disabled people four months to review my file and agree that I had to the right to it.

I guess it is the time I needed to accept, I mean truly accept, the fact that I am disabled and probably won't get back to not being disabled, at least not in the coming five years...
