THE BOYS ARE BORED

When I was a boy, boredom was a way of life!
There was no television (and when we did finally get one, there was only one channel and it showed just the test card for most of the day), amusements consisted of jigsaws, a couple of previously read books and an unhealthily overactive imagination.
After two years in virtual lockdown, however, I am willing to sympathise with Wilson and Byron when they tell me that they are bored.
I will try to organise something – not a holiday, just a day trip – to try and distract us all from the many troubles of the Modern World…
