Survivors

Edinburgh did not experience the full force of Storm Arwen, nor indeed the snow, but even then it was extremely windy. No evident serious damage thankfully.

I took the dog up Blackford Hill this afternoon: termperature registering 2oC.. In the lee of the hill it was cold but pleasant. Once we crested the brow of the hill the full force of the wind hit.

This tree will have been in direct blast of the winds but even still a few leaves survived, clinging on to the top of some branches. It was a beautiful fiery sunset.
