Family isn't always a genetic thing.

It's fair to say I don't trust easily, that I'd nearly always far rather the buck stopped with me. So I feel very lucky that there are oh so many people in this picture that I'd trust if and when it really mattered, people I'm honoured to call friends and colleagues. I'm immensely proud to be President of the British Association of International Mountain Leaders.

Some excellent personal cpd today. The portable altitude chamber is always impressive.

And then toasts, laughter and tales of daring do.
