Snow on Mount Teide

Everyone on our island now has a smart meter for their electricity and I expect it’s the same all over Spain. You don’t have a choice, they are just fitted. There are three different price zones and weekends are in the cheapest zone so that is now when I run the washing machine. I first put the washing on my washing line which sits in an enclosed area open to the sky next to the kitchen. It rained so I took it in, put it on a clothes horse and spent the rest of the day taking it in and out as we had shower after shower. We seemed to be on the edge of the rain clouds as some showers were minuscule. We went for a walk around the block late afternoon and met up with a few people for a chat, two couples were in their cars and one chap we hadn’t seen for quite a while we walked and chatted. Little did we know until later what Boris was announcing on the TV re PCR requirement for entry into the U.K. for all travellers although he hasn’t said from when. I have already bought our Lateral flow tests which are sitting on the mat at home. It’s going to be a rush to sort out where to buy the tests from. We were caught last year just as they introduced testing.
We were surprised to see Mount Teide on Tenerife with it’s first covering of snow.
