November snow

We had a lot of overnight snow. Darren got up for work but he knew when he looked out of bedroom window that the chances of him getting there were slim. He got showered and dressed and decided to go check the main road to see what it was like. I went with him, it was half past six on a Saturday morning. 2 cars were stuck on the main road, it was covered in snow, while we were looking another car got stuck. Darren rung work to inform them it was unlikely he’d get there, he was offered the option to make up the time at a later date or take a days holiday, he decided to make up the time. We went for a walk at the reservoir later in the morning, the strong winds made it feel freezing. It was a day to spend in doors.
