High Winds

It was blowing a gale in Edinburgh today!  The weather forecast said it was around 50mph.  The conditions were worse in other areas especially in the north east with many reports of the damage done by Storm Arwen.

We still made it to the monthly Open History Society where there was a good turn out despite the weather.  We had a first class lecture from Dr Jenni Calder on Naomi Mitchison, the novelist, poet and social campaigner.
