If You Want to Get Ahead......

It was a day of two halves; this morning was dry but cold, this afternoon the skys darkened and we had sleet.  So we went into town this morning, bought a couple of things in Superdrug then went next door to York's Cafe for a coffee, we were the only two braving the outside tables.

From there we wandered down to Bridge Street where the Sunday Market had been set up and Ann bought a Christmas tree from the polar bear stall.  This will replace our white stick tree which we'll donate to a charity shop.

This afternoon we snuggled down to watch day two of GB in the Davis Cup.
