The difference a week makes...

After the success of the training course last week, this was the day of the avalanche on Poo Mountain.

Everything I tried just didn't work.

And if you know me, you'll know that my confidence is never high and things like that are absolutely exhausting & completely embarassing for me.  After 3 hours of that, I was close to just running away.

But.

No.  I phoned someone.

"This doesn't work" I said.  "I've checked my connections, I've checked the parameters - I can't see anything wrong.  2 colleagues copied the job and it didn't work for them either".

The guy I phoned checked all my settings, everything was in order.

So I submitted the job so he could see what didn't happen.

It worked.  The job ran as it was supposed to.  And I had changed  nothing at all.  Maybe it was a network problem, but there was no clue anywhere as to what didn't work.

I drove myself near demented this afternoon trying to find the cause.

And then I remembered "It's Monday and Monday hates me more than any other person alive".

It was not a good day.
