Conference Speech

The Leader's speech at her (or his) party conference is the culmination of the event.

I have had a fair amount to do with such speeches over the years, and with such conferences, but this is only the second time in more than thirty years I have had to listen from afar , and the first ( last year) was as a result of having an on line conference too. 

This was a speech for the  times - serious , honest, brave and determined.   We have much still to get through but there is light at the end of this long pandemic tunnel, and when we get to it , then we are pledged to give Scotland the chance to start anew.
