Blackout

No lights. Today the kids played this amazing April Fools on me. I totally fell for it-- I asked them to get out their homework-- they replied: "you didn't assign us anything." Then I started to freak out because this particular class is fairly irresponsible with bringing stuff in-- so I asked them to get out their planners to make sure they had written it the day it was assigned. After a little while of me thinking I was going crazy, they say "it's an April Fools", and I say "it's not an April Fools, I'm seriously asking you for your homework!" And then I got it. I then proceeded to give them two merits each for their awesome and well executed prank!
