Drama at Reculver

There is a dark history to the Reculver Towers in Kent. 

The remains of around ten infant burials were found here dating from the Roman period. It is believed that  they  were used as a ritual sacrifice to appease the Roman gods.
The story goes that on stormy nights a crying baby can be heard in the towers. 


Fortunately today my ghosts only appear to be seagulls….
