Orphan mouthpiece

This is the mouthpiece that attaches to the delivery end of the cylinder of Gas &Air (Entonox)
The plan for today was the first skin graft on the foot/leg. But is was postponed and only the dressing changed. I say only, it was still a two hour job done in the ward.

I was given morphine, paracetamol and a local anaesthetic squirted down the vacuum tube to the leg.

BUT NO ENTONOX!!
Where is my Entonox?

Eventually after about an hour someone snatched a cylinder from the A&E department and I could get lost in a sea of nitrous oxide

There was much swearing, cursing and offensive language from the patient

When I apologised they said they had heard all before. Little comfort
