Compton Verney

The weather forecast was for showers but we decided to take a drive out to Compton Verney this afternoon for a coffee and a look round the John Nash exhibition.   That was very good, especially the feeling he put into his World War I paintings.

The house and grounds had been done up with Christmas lights, including a floating tree decked out on the lake (see extras).

As we arrived a shower was threatening and a rainbow arched over the grounds.  I guess there was a pot of gold buried beneath this particular tree!
