Gold Leaf

Back after missing a few days with a nasty cold.  Yes, there are other viruses apart from Covid and I managed to catch one!  Anyway, feeling much better and so enjoyed today.  Spent a little time at home with Daniel visiting and then off to BG for a coffee and for a change not having to fix anything.  Back home and a very enjoyable LIverpool derby with LV watching my TV on our Facebook call as he couldn't watch in the UK - amazingly enough every single Premier League game is shown in the US.   Liverpool ran out 4 -1 winners at Everton and scored 4 superb goals.

Then it was off out on a walk at our local lake and Leyna spotted this sun capped tree as it was approaching dusk and the sun was only lighting up the top of the tree - thought it made a great contrast.  The extra is of a rather different view - only in America!  Then we decided to try out a Chinese restaurant we hadn't been to after it was closed for illicit sex trade operations.  It has since been bought by new more honest owners and we had a good meal, albeit our waitress was a little abrupt and spent less than a few seconds at the table in any interaction.  This was rather amusing rather than annoying.  Tasty and big portions to the extent we took home enought for tomorrow's dinner.
