A day in Hospital

A dry but chilly day

After 6 years with my Pacemaker the battery was running low so I needed to come into hospital for a new one. Contrary to what I was told they replaced the whole Pacemaker, not just the Battery.

I was well looked after and the Surgeon was very skilled and it didn’t take very long. Hopefully I should be home in time for dinner.

We are indeed blessed by the NHS and despite all the problems everyone was cheerful and caring.
