Walkway

Since I went on the photography course on Saturday afternoon, I've been playing with a few manual features like ISO and spot metering. I've mainly been playing with them on my phone's 'pro' setting.

This was one of those shots which is half in the light and half in shadow so it was a bit of a fail. I used spot metering to get the light right on the wall panel, but the area beyond it has whited out. I quite like the effect though.

This is Derwent college, University of York. When I was a first year undergrad, my room wasn't far from here.
