Chilly Walk

Trying to prepare the house for Christmas. So whilst Richard went for the dressing on his arm to be changed (he’s progressed to silver dressings now) I got a few jobs out of the way.

Popped through to Malton to do some Christmas shopping. Spent a time in a small shop with a cabinetmaker showing me some of his hand made wooden platters. He knew where the trees had come from and what had caused the different patterns in the wood. Really liked his work.

This afternoon a walk in Cawthorne Roman Camps. Surprised to see a covering of snow. A very cold wind meant we were glad of our duvet jackets hats and gloves. This is as we were about to emerge from the woods. Rather liked the light.
