Samuel is an extrovert

Samuel is not a mix of introvert and extrovert. Before we learned that the virus can't easily be spread on surfaces or by dogs, Covid was rough on Samuel. He knew people wanted to pet him. He knew he wanted to be pet. Something was very wrong. 

Tonight he sped up to visit some neighbors and I realized that Samuel is all extrovert. 

It got up to 64 degrees F this afternoon! (17.9 degrees C) 

Sunday we will start getting freezing temperatures. 

Some of, maybe all of, my hellebores will bloom IN THE WINTER. 

I heard an incredible story about an unelectrified community that was asked to test some refrigerators. The refrigerators doubled the vendors incomes because people wanted cold water, carbonated beverages, and beer. Meat vendors moved to be near them because people wanted food and cold drink, and their incomes increased too. The vendors with refrigerators realized they had something valuable, but they couldn't stay up all night, every night, to protect them, so they organized a neighborhood watch. And thus, because of refrigerators, women in town became safe walking at night.

The squirrel can calm down, there will be no government shut down until at least Feb.
