Nature Diary...A truly beautiful day...

From first thing this morning until a lovely gentle sunset this evening the entire day was simply beautiful.
The sheep from the farm grazed contentedly on the lush grass while Magpies hopped about happily around them. 
Warmed by the December sunshine a Crow cawed lazily from a nearby rooftop and my semi-tame Herring Gull flew in for a mid-morning snack. A perfect December day.
