Evening out

Went to Ely Cathedral this evening to see the Chapterhouse Theatre Company perform ‘A Christmas Carol’. A very enjoyable experience - it is amazing what a cast of just 4 men and 3 women can do - each one (except Scrooge himself) played at least three different characters and the scene changes were done by the actors as well! From my seat I had this view along a side aisle - just dimly lit but adding to the atmosphere.
I will be seeing Antic Disposition’s version of this same story at the end of the month in Middle Temple Hall, London which will be a very different performance - a slightly larger cast and a musical.
It’s beginning to feel a bit Christmassy now!
