Time to Understand

A very helpful assistant pictured at Nottingham Contemporary's "Our Silver City 2094" exhibition today. She provided much interesting background info on the exhibits. I was so absorbed, that I only visited

The whole exhibition is accompanied by a novella that I've not looked at yet.

Extra 1 has the photographic image (& video) on the walls, as inspired by by the ability of an Octopus to change it's colour into almost infinite (I think)  shades.

Extra 2 is part of an installation that contemplates how modern materials will appear as fossils contrasting actual fossils with modern items as pictured. The same stand also had the crystalline-looking extra 3, which is made with paint from a old German car paint factory

I also loved the drone-like very atmospheric sounds of the music backdrop exhibit, commissioned by the artist and gallery:
