Veg delivery this afternoon, and I actually got round to preparing the lot.  In heavily salted water it all keeps fresh for weeks (if necessary)  in the fridge.  I always do this with the spinach (now out of season) immediately as a matter of course, but the rest often has to wait a day or two.
