If you can see it, its going to rain

If you cant see it, it's raining. .. 

We d arranged for a gardener to come , to do a couple of jobs,  reduce the height of a tree and clear away the ivy from the gutters and  roof edge. He said hed be here at 9:30. 
He wasnt. At 10:10  he sent a text to say hed problems with his van but would "get there soon"

Fletch and left M to wait for him and we went for a walk up the top of the old slag bank, now grassed over and part of Channelside. It was cloudy but the Isle of Man was quite clear .
We have a saying about the Isle of Man.. if you see it it means its going to rain, if you cant see it is raining.. but today it didnt rain. 

I clicked away happily as Fletch is quite patient!

Back home to a fed up M. Jack the gardener had not arrived,  nor sent a message. I messaged him and he said his van was  now working and hed definitely  be here tomorrow at 9:30. 
Let's hope so.
