Today I witness a snow cannon in action  beside the Vermo race track. In addition to a large pile of snow likely to be used to build up skiing tracks it had also covered the nearby trees in a wonderful snow coating (see the extra).

In northern parts of Finland, the temperatures are forecasted to go as down as -35C today - we had only -8C.
