Rufford Hall

I went with Alison and Lynne to Rufford Hall as Alison's husband was singing carols with his choir in the great hall. Another friend is also in the choir. We watched them both times it was lovely and so Christmassy. Between the shows we went for a walk outside and I took this shot looking in through the window. 
Watched Father Christmas go past my house tonight but it was pouring with rain and so cold that I only opened the door for about 5 seconds.
It has been a real wintry day today cold, windy, showery either rain or hail and dark.
