Practice makes…

Almost perfect!

I’ve been in Manchester today on a ‘posterior composite’ course (white fillings in back teeth).

These courses are usually silly money and targeted at dentists who have silly money, but today’s was ‘by therapists, for therapists’.

It was sponsored by the company whose products we used today, so we got it for a great price. Cleverly, the rep knows we will all be in work on Monday, asking for said products to be ordered!

The aim of the game was to recreate proper tooth morphology; adding all the lumps and bumps that are found naturally on teeth.

My first attempt was shocking, but with a little guidance and a couple more goes, the results were better. (Top to bottom on the photo are best to worst)

So much so, I won a prize (a bottle of Prosecco, thank you very much) for best in class :-)
