Glow and Gløgg

Danish food and drink culture today. For my morning coffee, I had a beautifully decorated Christmas spice cake. Lunch was a yummy smørrebrød with Danish meatballs and Danish beer. The afternoon brought hot Gløgg and æbleskiver with a jam dip in a little bookshop cafe.
This evening is very ‘hygge’ - sitting at home, cosy on a cold night, with fairy lights and a good book.
