Out with the Hobblers

The morning was passed doing jobs, thankfully some out of doors then, after lunch I walked down to the village to meet up with some of the Hobblers for a walk.  We began these monthly walks a while back when it was clear we had a couple of folks who had long term injuries and we were missing out on seeing them.  There was much telling of tales and laughter along our route, just what I certainly needed.  They are such a great bunch.  I'm sorry ladies but I had to leave in the signpost!

Back home there was just time to do a couple of things before we had a long Skype with Euan and his Mummy in which there was description of his outing with Nana M and Grandad A - which focused on the wobbly path, and the pain au chocolat and brownie and apple juice he had at the cafe.  Then there were several rounds of wheels on the bus, row your boat and the hokey cokey.  He told us what ingredients went in to the banana cake he made earlier with Mummy and demonstrated how he went underwater at swimming this week and jumped off the edge.  He really is non stop.

Following that chat, we then Skyped with Czech friends Tomas and Marketa in Sumperk, and met baby Rozalie for the first time who is just nine months old and a whirlwind.  Such an active, smiley little girl.  It was lovely to catch up with their news and to see them looking so well.  We will visit again at some point in the future I am sure.
