Went for a walk while waiting for Sinterklaas to arrive, it was very atmospheric.
This was about 3.40 in the afternoon, it never really got properly light today, and there was a bitter wind blowing.

Good news is, both kids have now had their first covid19 vaccines, bad news, I've been pinged.

But perhaps there is light at the end of the year after all..
