Mateando in Manchester

Mate in the morning is more an Argentine custom than an English one, and not something I often do when I am in England. This morning, no doubt affected by my upcoming return to San Martín, I woke up with ganas.

For me, mate has always been an outdoors activity, probably because I am such a messy person and don't want to get green juice stains on my marking. But it's certainly a huge habit in Argentina and Uruguay.
